KEBARINGUP SCHOOL

The Kebaringp School opened of 4th April 1921 in an all weatherboard building with an iron rook, brick chimney and an open fire place, with a verandah partly enclosed. The site was on an approx. 5 acre reserve near the front gate of Arthur Johnston's property on the Borden-Gnowangerup road. There was a bushyard for horses as most of the children rode horses or drove in horse and sulky to the school.

The school closed in December 1929 due to insufficient numbers and the building was later removed to South Borden. A plaque has been erected on the site.
